Mitojim Chocolates

this week's Presentation was given by Tim, Michella, Josephine on Transmedia interactivity for the purpose of marketing and advertisement. They covered various topics on how technologies are used in advertising the most interesting topics were ATL,BTL,TTL , How social media used in marketing like flickr, intsagram, tiktok and lastly on how advertisements in movies are made using technology.

After a wonderful informative seminar the group organised 2 series of fun filled activities.


Section 1: MITOJIM International Chocolate Egg Hunt


The instructions given to each of the four groups was for each group to collect 2 out of the 8 chocolate flavors hidden in 16 mysterious points on the Map. Among these 16 pin-points, 8 contained the hidden chocolate flavors, while the other 8 contained “fake” flavors that led the participants who clicked on them to popular Internet memes. If, however, the group found one of the 8 chocolate flavors, they would get taken to a puzzle or quiz. If they solved it, they received a picture related to that flavor, and one member in the group was required to post the picture on their Instagram page, making sure to tag MITOJIM Chocolate in the process.


We were given a team name called Team mars, And we found 2 flavors the bubble milk tea, Green tea. Liam uploaded a story on Instagram and completed the task.


Section 2: Marketing Campaign




We had Instagram and TikTok from the design brief as their digital media channels in which we could promote and advertise bubble milk tea and green tea chocolate flavors. The concept of marketing campaign was “ Lost and Found”, in which the participant received an unexpected name, that of their friend, stamped onto the chocolate. The participant had to then seek the friend and exchange the chocolate with them, then they needed to post a picture on Instagram or post a short video of the experience in meeting friends, while making sure to tag Mitojim. Their participation will be rewarded with a meeting with their favorite celebrity. This was our idea for marketing campaign for Mitojim.
